Ingredients:
- 2 ½ cups Rolled Oats (Old Fashioned)
- 2 ½ cups Milk (Dairy or Non-Dairy)
- 2 ½ tablespoons Chia Seeds
- 1 cup Greek Yogurt (Plain)
- 2 tablespoons Sweetener (Maple Syrup or Honey)
- 1 teaspoon Vanilla Extract
- Pinch of Salt
Instructions:
- In a sealable jar, measure and add ½ cup (50g) of rolled oats and ½ teaspoon of chia seeds for the first serving.
- Pour in ½ cup (120ml) of your chosen milk, 2 tablespoons (about 40g) of Greek yogurt, ¼ teaspoon of vanilla, and a small drizzle of sweetener.
- Secure the lid tightly and shake vigorously for 30 seconds, or stir very well with a fork, ensuring no dry pockets remain at the bottom.
- Gently fold in the specific additions for Flavour #1 (e.g., cocoa powder for the chocolate version).
- Repeat Steps 1-4 four more times for the remaining four jars, customizing each with the remaining unique flavour variations.
- Place all five jars in the refrigerator for a minimum of 6 hours, but preferably overnight (8-10 hours) to allow the oats to fully soak.
- In the morning, check the consistency. If too thick, stir in a splash more milk until desired creaminess is reached.
- Taste each batch and adjust sweetness if necessary. Top each serving with its designated fresh components (berries, nuts, zest, etc.) immediately before serving cold.
