Ingredients:
- 1 medium (approx. 10 oz / 280g) zucchini
- 1 medium (approx. 10 oz / 280g) yellow squash
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp sea salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 1/4 tsp smoked paprika
Instructions:
- Thoroughly wash and dry the zucchini and squash to prevent steaming.
- Slice both vegetables into rounds exactly 1/4 inch (6mm) thick.
- In a large mixing bowl, toss the slices with olive oil, garlic powder, sea salt, black pepper, and smoked paprika until evenly coated.
- Preheat the air fryer to 400°F (200°C).
- Place the slices in the air fryer basket, ensuring they are no more than two layers deep to maintain airflow.
- Air fry for 6 minutes.
- Remove the basket and shake vigorously or use tongs to flip larger pieces.
- Air fry for an additional 6 minutes, or until the edges are mahogany-colored and slightly charred.
- Let the vegetables rest in the basket for 1–2 minutes to allow the exterior to set.
