Ingredients:

  • 1 medium (approx. 10 oz / 280g) zucchini
  • 1 medium (approx. 10 oz / 280g) yellow squash
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp sea salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 1/4 tsp smoked paprika

Instructions:

  1. Thoroughly wash and dry the zucchini and squash to prevent steaming.
  2. Slice both vegetables into rounds exactly 1/4 inch (6mm) thick.
  3. In a large mixing bowl, toss the slices with olive oil, garlic powder, sea salt, black pepper, and smoked paprika until evenly coated.
  4. Preheat the air fryer to 400°F (200°C).
  5. Place the slices in the air fryer basket, ensuring they are no more than two layers deep to maintain airflow.
  6. Air fry for 6 minutes.
  7. Remove the basket and shake vigorously or use tongs to flip larger pieces.
  8. Air fry for an additional 6 minutes, or until the edges are mahogany-colored and slightly charred.
  9. Let the vegetables rest in the basket for 1–2 minutes to allow the exterior to set.
