Ingredients:

  • ½ cup (115g) unsalted butter
  • 1 cup (200g) granulated sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • ⅓ cup (40g) Trader Joe
  • s cocoa powder
  • ½ cup (65g) all-purpose flour
  • ¼ teaspoon salt
  • ¼ teaspoon baking powder

Instructions:

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9x9 inch baking pan or line it with parchment paper for easy removal.
  2. In a medium saucepan, melt the butter over low heat. Once melted, remove from heat and let it cool slightly.
  3. Stir in the granulated sugar into the melted butter until well combined. Add in the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition. Then stir in the vanilla extract.

  8. Allow brownies to cool completely in the pan on a wire rack before cutting into squares—this helps them set better for cleaner cuts!
