Ingredients:
- ½ cup (115g) unsalted butter
- 1 cup (200g) granulated sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- ⅓ cup (40g) Trader Joe
- s cocoa powder
- ½ cup (65g) all-purpose flour
- ¼ teaspoon salt
- ¼ teaspoon baking powder
Instructions:
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9x9 inch baking pan or line it with parchment paper for easy removal.
- In a medium saucepan, melt the butter over low heat. Once melted, remove from heat and let it cool slightly.
- Stir in the granulated sugar into the melted butter until well combined. Add in the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition. Then stir in the vanilla extract.
- In a separate bowl
- Gradually add the dry mixture to the wet ingredients, stirring just until combined—avoid overmixing.
- Pour batter into your prepared baking pan and spread it out evenly using a spatula.
- Place in preheated oven and bake for about 25 to 30 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out with moist crumbs but not wet batter.
- Allow brownies to cool completely in the pan on a wire rack before cutting into squares—this helps them set better for cleaner cuts!
