  • 6 Tbsp Coarse Ground Black Pepper
  • 4 Tbsp Cayenne Pepper Powder (High Heat)
  • 4 Tbsp Red Pepper Flakes (Chili flakes)
  • 2 Tbsp Dried Oregano
  • 2 Tbsp Dried Thyme
  • 4 Tbsp Dried Bay Leaves (finely crushed)
  • 2 Tbsp Citric Acid Powder (optional, highly recommended)

Instructions:

  1. Measure and Combine Dry Ingredients: Into the large mixing bowl, add all the bulk ingredients: coarse sea salt, garlic powder, onion powder, and smoked paprika.
  2. Add the Heat: Incorporate the coarse ground black pepper, cayenne pepper, and red pepper flakes into the mixture.
  3. Introduce Herbs and Acid: Add the dried oregano, dried thyme, finely crushed bay leaves, and the citric acid powder (if using).
  4. Whisk Thoroughly: Using a whisk, stir the ingredients vigorously until the spices and salt are completely and uniformly distributed. Ensure there are no clumps of powder sticking together.
  5. Store: Transfer the complete seasoning blend into an airtight container. Label clearly with the date and store in a cool, dark place.
