Ingredients:
- 1 oz (30ml) White Rum (like Bacardi)
- 1 oz (30ml) Vodka (optional)
- 1 oz (30ml) Blue Curaçao liqueur
- 3 oz (90ml) Pineapple Juice
- 1 oz (30ml) Cream of Coconut (Coco Lopez brand is ideal)
- Pineapple wedge, for garnish
- Maraschino cherry, for garnish
- Ice cubes
Instructions:
- Chill your hurricane glass in the freezer for a few minutes, if desired.
- In a cocktail shaker, combine the white rum, vodka (if using), blue curaçao, pineapple juice, and cream of coconut.
- Fill the shaker with ice cubes.
- Shake vigorously for 15-20 seconds, until well-chilled. If making a frozen version, blend all ingredients with about 1 cup of ice until smooth.
- Strain the cocktail into the chilled hurricane glass filled with fresh ice. If blended, simply pour the frozen mixture into the glass.
- Garnish with a pineapple wedge and a maraschino cherry.
- Serve immediately and enjoy your tropical escape!
