Ingredients:
- 1 sheet of puff pastry (about 10 oz / 280 g), thawed
- 6 oz (170 g) brie cheese, cut into small wedges
- 1 cup (150 g) fresh strawberries, hulled and sliced
- 2 tablespoons (30 ml) balsamic glaze
- 1 tablespoon (15 g) brown sugar
- Fresh mint leaves (for garnish, optional)
Instructions:
- Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Roll out the thawed puff pastry on a floured surface.
- Cut the pastry into 3-inch squares (12 total).
- Place a square of pastry on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
- Add a wedge of brie and a slice of strawberry on top.
- Drizzle with balsamic glaze and sprinkle with brown sugar.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 10 minutes, until the pastry is golden brown.
- Switch the oven to broil; broil for 1-2 minutes until the brie is bubbly and slightly browned (watch closely).
- Remove from oven, garnish with mint leaves if desired, and serve warm.
