Ingredients:

  • 1 cup (150g) digestive biscuits, crushed
  • 1/2 cup (50g) powdered sugar
  • 1/4 cup (60ml) butterscotch schnapps
  • 1/4 cup (60g) unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1/2 cup (125g) unsalted butter, softened
  • 1/2 cup (50g) shredded coconut (optional)
  • 1/2 cup (50g) finely chopped nuts (optional)

Instructions:

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine crushed digestive biscuits and powdered sugar. Add cocoa powder and stir until combined.
  2. Pour in softened butter and butterscotch schnapps. Mix until you get a sticky dough-like consistency.
  3. Using your hands, take small amounts of the mixture and roll into balls (about 1 inch in diameter). Place the formed balls onto a tray lined with parchment paper.
  4. Cover the tray with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to firm up.
  5. If desired, roll the chilled bliss balls in shredded coconut or chopped nuts before serving.
