Ingredients:

  • 8 slices of sourdough bread (or your choice of bread, approx. 500g)
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese (approx. 120g)
  • 1 cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese (approx. 120g)
  • ½ cup crumbled goat cheese (approx. 75g)
  • 1 tablespoon unsalted butter (for grilling, approx. 14g)
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano

Instructions:

  1. In a bowl, combine mozzarella, cheddar, and goat cheese.
  2. Sprinkle in garlic powder and oregano, mix well.
  3. Lay out four slices of bread on a clean surface.
  4. Evenly distribute the cheese filling over each slice.
  5. Top with remaining bread slices.
  6. Heat the grill pan or panini press over medium heat.
  7. Spread butter on the exterior of each sandwich.
  8. Place the sandwiches on the grill, cooking until golden brown (about 3-5 minutes).
  9. Flip the sandwiches, grilling for another 3-5 minutes until crispy.
  10. Remove from heat, slice diagonally, and serve immediately.
