Ingredients:
- 8 slices of sourdough bread (or your choice of bread, approx. 500g)
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese (approx. 120g)
- 1 cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese (approx. 120g)
- ½ cup crumbled goat cheese (approx. 75g)
- 1 tablespoon unsalted butter (for grilling, approx. 14g)
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon dried oregano
Instructions:
- In a bowl, combine mozzarella, cheddar, and goat cheese.
- Sprinkle in garlic powder and oregano, mix well.
- Lay out four slices of bread on a clean surface.
- Evenly distribute the cheese filling over each slice.
- Top with remaining bread slices.
- Heat the grill pan or panini press over medium heat.
- Spread butter on the exterior of each sandwich.
- Place the sandwiches on the grill, cooking until golden brown (about 3-5 minutes).
- Flip the sandwiches, grilling for another 3-5 minutes until crispy.
- Remove from heat, slice diagonally, and serve immediately.
