Ingredients:
- 2 cans (12.4 oz each) Pillsbury™ Refrigerated Cinnamon Rolls (with included icing)
- 0.5 cup heavy cream
- 2 large eggs
- 1 tbsp maple syrup
- 1 tsp ground cinnamon
- 1 tsp pure vanilla extract
- 0.25 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 0.5 cup chopped pecans
Instructions:
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9x13 inch baking dish thoroughly with butter or non-stick spray.
- Open the cans of cinnamon rolls and set the icing aside. Use kitchen shears or a knife to cut each individual roll into 4 to 6 bite-sized pieces. Distribute pieces evenly into the prepared dish.
- In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the 2 eggs, 1/2 cup heavy cream, 1 tablespoon maple syrup, 1 teaspoon vanilla extract, and 1 teaspoon cinnamon until fully combined.
- Pour the custard mixture evenly over the dough pieces. Drizzle the 1/4 cup melted butter over the top and sprinkle with 1/2 cup chopped pecans. Ensure dough has contact with the liquid.
- Bake on the center rack for 28-32 minutes until the top is deep golden-brown and the center is set but retains a slight jiggle.
- Cool for 5 minutes. Warm the reserved icing in the microwave for 10 seconds and drizzle generously over the warm casserole before serving.
