Ingredients:
- 1 lime, cut into wedges (approximately 115 grams)
- 2 teaspoons granulated sugar (10 grams)
- 2 ounces cachaça (60 ml)
- Crushed ice (as needed)
- Lime wheel or wedge (for garnish, optional)
Instructions:
- Cut the lime into 8 wedges.
- In a short glass, add the lime wedges and sugar. Gently muddle to release the lime juice and dissolve the sugar, about 10-15 seconds.
- Pour the cachaça over the muddled lime and sugar mixture.
- Fill the glass with crushed ice, nearly to the top.
- Stir the mixture gently to combine the ingredients evenly.
- Optionally, garnish with a lime wheel or wedge.
