Ingredients:
- 2 oz (60 ml) whiskey (bourbon or rye recommended)
- 4-6 oz (120-180 ml) soda water or ginger ale
- Ice cubes
- Lemon or lime wedge (for garnish)
Instructions:
- Add ice cubes to a highball glass, filling it about halfway.
- Pour 2 oz (60 ml) of whiskey over the ice using a jigger.
- Slowly top the glass with 4-6 oz (120-180 ml) of soda water or ginger ale.
- Squeeze a wedge of lemon or lime over the drink and add it to the glass.
- Use a bar spoon or straw to gently stir the cocktail, if desired.
- Enjoy immediately while cold and refreshing!
