Ingredients:
- 1/2 cup (120 ml) extra virgin olive oil
- 1/4 cup (60 ml) red wine vinegar
- 1 tablespoon (15 g) Dijon mustard
- 1 teaspoon (5 g) garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon (5 g) dried oregano
- 1 teaspoon (5 g) dried basil
- 1/2 teaspoon (3 g) sugar (optional)
- Salt and freshly cracked black pepper, to taste
Instructions:
- Combine olive oil, red wine vinegar, and Dijon mustard in a bowl or jar.
- Add garlic powder, oregano, basil, and sugar (if using).
- Season with salt and freshly cracked black pepper according to taste.
- Whisk until well combined or shake vigorously if using a jar until emulsified.
- Taste and adjust seasoning as needed, adding more vinegar, salt, or pepper.
- Use immediately or refrigerate for up to a week, shaking or stirring before each use.
