Ingredients:
- 60ml (2 oz) 100% Agave Blanco Tequila
- 30ml (1 oz) Freshly squeezed lime juice
- 15ml (0.5 oz) Cointreau or high-quality Triple Sec
- 7.5ml (0.25 oz) Agave nectar
- 15g (1 tbsp) Coarse sea salt
- 1 Lime wedge
- 1 cup Large ice cubes
Instructions:
- Place the salt on a small plate. Run a lime wedge around the outer rim of a rocks glass. Dip the edge of the glass into the salt at a 45-degree angle to coat the exterior.
- Combine the tequila, fresh lime juice, orange liqueur, and agave nectar into a cocktail shaker.
- Fill the shaker at least 3/4 full with large ice cubes to ensure maximum chilling.
- Secure the lid and shake vigorously for 12–15 seconds until the shaker is frosty and the liquid is well-aerated.
- Strain the mixture through a Hawthorne strainer into the prepared glass over fresh ice. Garnish with a thin lime wheel.
