Ingredients:

  • 60ml (2 oz) 100% Agave Blanco Tequila
  • 30ml (1 oz) Freshly squeezed lime juice
  • 15ml (0.5 oz) Cointreau or high-quality Triple Sec
  • 7.5ml (0.25 oz) Agave nectar
  • 15g (1 tbsp) Coarse sea salt
  • 1 Lime wedge
  • 1 cup Large ice cubes

Instructions:

  1. Place the salt on a small plate. Run a lime wedge around the outer rim of a rocks glass. Dip the edge of the glass into the salt at a 45-degree angle to coat the exterior.
  2. Combine the tequila, fresh lime juice, orange liqueur, and agave nectar into a cocktail shaker.
  3. Fill the shaker at least 3/4 full with large ice cubes to ensure maximum chilling.
  4. Secure the lid and shake vigorously for 12–15 seconds until the shaker is frosty and the liquid is well-aerated.
  5. Strain the mixture through a Hawthorne strainer into the prepared glass over fresh ice. Garnish with a thin lime wheel.
