Ingredients:
- 1 cup (240 ml) freshly squeezed lemon juice
- 1 cup (200 g) granulated sugar
- 1 cup (240 ml) water
- Optional: Zest of 1 lemon for added flavor
Instructions:
- Roll lemons on the counter to release juices. Cut in half and use the juicer to extract juice until you reach 1 cup.
- In a mixing pitcher, combine lemon juice, water, and granulated sugar.
- Use a whisk or spoon to stir the mixture until sugar is fully dissolved (about 3-4 minutes).
- If using zest, add it to the mix and stir gently.
- Pour the mixture through a fine mesh strainer into a clean jar to remove zest.
- Seal tightly and refrigerate. Use within 1-2 weeks for the best flavor.
