Ingredients:

  • 2 cups (475ml) plain yogurt
  • 1 medium cucumber, peeled, seeded, and finely diced
  • 2 tablespoons finely chopped fresh mint
  • 1 tablespoon finely chopped fresh cilantro
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cumin
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • Pinch of cayenne pepper (optional)

Instructions:

  1. Peel, seed, and dice the cucumber into small, even pieces.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine the yogurt, diced cucumber, chopped mint, chopped cilantro, ground cumin, salt, and cayenne pepper (if using).
  3. Gently stir all ingredients together until well combined.
  4. For best flavor, cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to allow the flavors to meld (optional).
  5. Serve chilled as a side dish or condiment.
