Ingredients:
- 1 large frozen banana, sliced (approx. 120g)
- 1 cup (240ml) unsweetened almond milk
- 1/2 cup (120g) frozen mango or berries
- 1 tbsp (15g) almond butter or peanut butter
- 1/2 tsp (2g) ground cinnamon
- 1/2 tsp (2.5ml) pure vanilla extract
- 1 pinch sea salt
Instructions:
- Pour the almond milk into the blender first to ensure the blades can spin freely and create the necessary vortex.
- Add the frozen banana slices (sliced into 1 inch rounds for easier processing).
- Spoon in the nut butter (microwave for 10 seconds if too stiff).
- Toss in the frozen mango or berries.
- Sprinkle in the ground cinnamon and sea salt.
- Stir in the vanilla extract.
- Start the blender on the lowest setting to prevent frozen chunks from hitting the lid.
- Quickly increase the speed to high.
- Blend for 45–60 seconds until the mixture is completely homogenous and velvety.
- Pour into a chilled glass and serve immediately.
