Ingredients:

  • 1 large frozen banana, sliced (approx. 120g)
  • 1 cup (240ml) unsweetened almond milk
  • 1/2 cup (120g) frozen mango or berries
  • 1 tbsp (15g) almond butter or peanut butter
  • 1/2 tsp (2g) ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 tsp (2.5ml) pure vanilla extract
  • 1 pinch sea salt

Instructions:

  1. Pour the almond milk into the blender first to ensure the blades can spin freely and create the necessary vortex.
  2. Add the frozen banana slices (sliced into 1 inch rounds for easier processing).
  3. Spoon in the nut butter (microwave for 10 seconds if too stiff).
  4. Toss in the frozen mango or berries.
  5. Sprinkle in the ground cinnamon and sea salt.
  6. Stir in the vanilla extract.
  7. Start the blender on the lowest setting to prevent frozen chunks from hitting the lid.
  8. Quickly increase the speed to high.
  9. Blend for 45–60 seconds until the mixture is completely homogenous and velvety.
  10. Pour into a chilled glass and serve immediately.
