Ingredients:

  • 12 count Hawaiian Sweet Rolls
  • 3 cups shredded chicken breast
  • 6 slices provolone cheese
  • 1/2 cup thinly sliced red onions
  • 1/4 cup plain Greek yogurt
  • 1 tbsp Dijon mustard
  • 1 tsp fresh lemon juice
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/4 tsp cracked black pepper
  • 2 tbsp unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 tsp honey
  • 1 tbsp fresh parsley, minced
  • 1 tsp everything bagel seasoning

Instructions:

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Use a serrated knife to slice the entire block of Hawaiian rolls in half horizontally.
  2. Place the bottom half of the rolls in a 9x13 baking dish.
  3. In a medium bowl, fold together the shredded chicken, Greek yogurt, Dijon mustard, lemon juice, garlic powder, and black pepper.
  4. Lay 3 slices of provolone across the bread, then spread the chicken mixture evenly over the cheese and layer the sliced red onions on top.
  5. Place the provolone cheese slices over the onions and cover with the top half of the rolls.
  6. Whisk together melted butter, honey, parsley, and everything bagel seasoning. Brush the glaze over the tops of the rolls.
  7. Cover with aluminum foil and bake for 10 minutes. Remove foil and bake for an additional 10 minutes until the tops are mahogany-colored and cheese is melted.
