Ingredients:

  • 2 gammon steaks (approx. 200g / 7 oz each)
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil (15 ml)
  • 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard (5 g)
  • 1 teaspoon honey or maple syrup (5 g)
  • Freshly cracked black pepper, to taste
  • Optional: fresh herbs (e.g., thyme or rosemary) for garnish

Instructions:

  1. Preheat the air fryer to 180°C (356°F).
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine olive oil, Dijon mustard, and honey/maple syrup.
  3. Brush the gammon steaks with the mixture on both sides.
  4. Season with freshly cracked black pepper.
  5. Place the gammon steaks in the air fryer basket in a single layer.
  6. Cook for 10-12 minutes, flipping halfway through, or until crispy and the internal temperature reaches 65°C (149°F).
  7. Remove from the air fryer and let rest for a few minutes before serving.
  8. Garnish with fresh herbs if desired.
