Ingredients:
- 2 gammon steaks (approx. 200g / 7 oz each)
- 1 tablespoon olive oil (15 ml)
- 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard (5 g)
- 1 teaspoon honey or maple syrup (5 g)
- Freshly cracked black pepper, to taste
- Optional: fresh herbs (e.g., thyme or rosemary) for garnish
Instructions:
- Preheat the air fryer to 180°C (356°F).
- In a mixing bowl, combine olive oil, Dijon mustard, and honey/maple syrup.
- Brush the gammon steaks with the mixture on both sides.
- Season with freshly cracked black pepper.
- Place the gammon steaks in the air fryer basket in a single layer.
- Cook for 10-12 minutes, flipping halfway through, or until crispy and the internal temperature reaches 65°C (149°F).
- Remove from the air fryer and let rest for a few minutes before serving.
- Garnish with fresh herbs if desired.
