Ingredients:

  • 1 cup (240 ml) strong brewed coffee, cooled (preferably espresso)
  • 1/2 cup (120 ml) milk (whole or any preferred milk alternative)
  • 1/3 cup (100 g) dulce de leche
  • 2 cups (200 g) ice cubes
  • Whipped cream (approximately 1 cup or 240 ml)
  • Extra dulce de leche for drizzling
  • Chocolate shavings or cocoa powder (optional)

Instructions:

  1. Brew strong coffee or espresso and let it cool to room temperature.
  2. In a blender, combine cooled coffee, milk, dulce de leche, and ice cubes.
  3. Blend on high speed until smooth and creamy. Adjust consistency with more ice for thickness or milk for a thinner texture.
  4. Taste the frappe and add more dulce de leche if desired for extra sweetness.
  5. Pour the frappe into glasses.
  6. Top with a generous dollop of whipped cream. Drizzle with additional dulce de leche and sprinkle with chocolate shavings if using. Serve immediately with a straw.
