Ingredients:

  • 4 cups (100 g) rice crispy cereal
  • ½ cup (115 g) unsalted butter
  • 10 oz (280 g) mini marshmallows
  • 3 Mars Bars (each about 2.2 oz or 62 g)
  • ½ cup (60 g) milk or dark chocolate chips
  • 2 tsp (10 mL) vegetable oil

Instructions:

  1. Spray the baking dish with non-stick cooking spray or line with parchment paper.
  2. In a large saucepan, melt the butter over low heat.
  3. Add the mini marshmallows to the melted butter, stirring constantly until melted and smooth.
  4. Remove from heat and fold in the rice crispy cereal until well combined.
  5. Press the mixture evenly into the prepared baking dish.
  6. Chop Mars Bars into small pieces.
  7. In a microwave-safe bowl, combine Mars Bar pieces and chocolate chips. Microwave in 30-second intervals, stirring between each, until completely melted.
  8. Add vegetable oil and stir until smooth.
  9. Pour the melted Mars Bar and chocolate mixture over the rice crispy base, spreading evenly.
  10. Allow to cool at room temperature for about 30 minutes, or until set.
  11. Once set, cut into squares and enjoy!
