Ingredients:

  • 6 Mars Bars (about 4.4 oz each / 125 grams each), chopped
  • 4 cups (100 grams) crispy rice cereal
  • 1 cup (225 grams) unsalted butter
  • 1 cup (120 grams) heavy cream
  • 200 grams (7 oz) milk chocolate, chopped
  • 50 grams (1.76 oz) dark chocolate, chopped (optional for a richer flavor)

Instructions:

  1. Line the baking dish with parchment paper, leaving some overhang for easy removal.
  2. In a pot over low heat, combine chopped Mars Bars and butter. Stir until melted and smooth.
  3. Remove from heat and gently fold in crispy rice cereal until evenly coated.
  4. Transfer the mixture to the lined baking dish. Press down firmly with a spatula to create an even layer.
  5. Place the dish in the refrigerator for 30 minutes to allow the mixture to set.
  6. While the base is chilling, melt the milk chocolate and dark chocolate together using a double boiler or microwave.
  7. Once the base is set, pour the melted chocolate over the top. Use a spatula to spread it evenly.
  8. Return the cake to the refrigerator for another 20 minutes or until the chocolate is firm.
  9. Lift the cake out of the pan using the parchment paper overhang, slice into squares or bars, and enjoy!
