Ingredients:
- 6 Mars Bars (about 4.4 oz each / 125 grams each), chopped
- 4 cups (100 grams) crispy rice cereal
- 1 cup (225 grams) unsalted butter
- 1 cup (120 grams) heavy cream
- 200 grams (7 oz) milk chocolate, chopped
- 50 grams (1.76 oz) dark chocolate, chopped (optional for a richer flavor)
Instructions:
- Line the baking dish with parchment paper, leaving some overhang for easy removal.
- In a pot over low heat, combine chopped Mars Bars and butter. Stir until melted and smooth.
- Remove from heat and gently fold in crispy rice cereal until evenly coated.
- Transfer the mixture to the lined baking dish. Press down firmly with a spatula to create an even layer.
- Place the dish in the refrigerator for 30 minutes to allow the mixture to set.
- While the base is chilling, melt the milk chocolate and dark chocolate together using a double boiler or microwave.
- Once the base is set, pour the melted chocolate over the top. Use a spatula to spread it evenly.
- Return the cake to the refrigerator for another 20 minutes or until the chocolate is firm.
- Lift the cake out of the pan using the parchment paper overhang, slice into squares or bars, and enjoy!
