Ingredients:

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon sugar
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon instant yeast
  • 3/4 cup warm water
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 1/2 cups cooked chicken, shredded
  • 1 cup BBQ sauce
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup red onion, thinly sliced
  • 1/4 cup fresh cilantro, chopped
  • 1/4 cup ranch dressing (optional)

Instructions:

  1. Combine flour, sugar, salt, and yeast in a large mixing bowl.
  2. Add warm water and olive oil; mix until a dough forms.
  3. Knead the dough for 5-7 minutes until smooth and elastic.
  4. Place the dough in a greased bowl, cover with a cloth, and let it rest for 30 minutes in a warm place.
  5. While the dough rises, shred the cooked chicken and mix it with BBQ sauce in a bowl.
  6. Prepare the remaining toppings: slice onions and chop cilantro.
  7. Preheat the oven to 475°F (245°C).
  8. Roll out the rested dough on a floured surface to desired thickness.
  9. Transfer the rolled dough to a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  10. Spread the BBQ chicken mixture evenly over the dough.
  11. Sprinkle mozzarella cheese and red onion slices on top.
  12. Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes or until the crust is golden brown and cheese is bubbling.
  13. Remove from the oven, top with fresh cilantro, drizzle with ranch dressing if desired, and cut into slices.
