  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 cups (200g) shredded mozzarella cheese
  • ½ cup (60g) pepperoni slices (or any other toppings of choice)

  • Fresh basil leaves for garnish

Instructions:

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine flour, baking powder, and salt.
  2. Make a well in the center and add warm water and olive oil.
  3. Mix until a dough forms, kneading lightly for about 2 minutes.
  4. Cover with a towel and let rest for 10 minutes.
  5. In a small bowl, combine tomato sauce, oregano, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
  6. Preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C).
  7. Roll out the rested dough on a floured surface to about ¼-inch thickness.
  8. Use a round cutter to cut circles of dough (about 2-3 inches in diameter) and place them on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
  9. Spoon a small amount of sauce onto each dough circle.
  10. Sprinkle mozzarella cheese on top.
  11. Add desired toppings evenly over the cheese.
  12. Bake for 15-20 minutes, or until the cheese is bubbly and the crust is golden brown.
  13. Remove from the oven and let cool slightly.
  14. Garnish with fresh basil leaves and serve warm.
