- 2 cups (240g) powdered sugar, sifted
- 2-3 tablespoons (30-45ml) milk (dairy or non-dairy)
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- A pinch of salt
Instructions:
- Gather all ingredients and ensure the butter is softened to room temperature.
- In a mixing bowl, beat the softened butter with an electric mixer until creamy.
- Gradually add in the sifted powdered sugar, mixing on low speed to prevent a sugar cloud.
- Pour in 2 tablespoons of milk and vanilla extract, blending until smooth.
- Sprinkle in the ground cinnamon and pinch of salt; blend again until fully combined.
- If frosting is too thick, add an additional tablespoon of milk; mix until desired consistency is reached.
- Taste the frosting and add more cinnamon or vanilla if desired.
- Use immediately to frost warm cinnamon rolls or store in the fridge for later use.
