Ingredients:

  • 1 lb ground beef (80/20 blend)
  • 4 oz feta cheese, crumbled
  • 1/4 cup fresh parsley, finely chopped
  • 2 tablespoons fresh mint, finely chopped
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 4 burger buns
  • Lettuce, tomato, and red onion slices (optional)
  • Tzatziki sauce or your favorite condiment (optional)

Instructions:

  1. Gather all ingredients and equipment; finely chop parsley and mint, and mince garlic.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine ground beef, crumbled feta, parsley, mint, garlic, salt, and pepper. Add olive oil and mix until just combined.
  3. Divide mixture into 4 equal portions and shape into patties, about 3/4-inch thick with a slight indentation.
  4. Refrigerate patties for at least 30 minutes to firm up.
  5. Preheat grill to medium-high heat.
  6. Place patties on the grill; cook for 5-6 minutes on one side, then flip and cook for another 5-6 minutes until the internal temperature reaches 160°F.
  7. Remove burgers from grill; let rest for a few minutes before serving on buns with desired toppings and condiments.
