Ingredients:
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup sweetened condensed milk
- ½ cup unsweetened cocoa powder
- ½ teaspoon vanilla extract
- ¼ teaspoon salt
Instructions:
- In a medium mixing bowl, combine the heavy cream and sweetened condensed milk. Whisk together until well blended.
- Sift in the unsweetened cocoa powder to avoid lumps, then add the vanilla extract and salt. Whisk continuously until you achieve a smooth, velvety mixture with no lumps of cocoa.
- Give your fudge mixture a taste; if you want it sweeter, feel free to stir in an additional tablespoon of sweetened condensed milk.
- Carefully pour the fudge mixture into pop molds, leaving a little space at the top for expansion as they freeze. If using optional toppings like mini chocolate chips or crushed nuts, sprinkle them on top now.
- If your mold has separate sticks
- Place the molds in the freezer for at least 4 hours or until completely frozen solid.
- To release pops from their molds easily, run warm water over the outside of each mold for about 30 seconds before gently pulling them out.
- Enjoy your delicious homemade chocolate fudge pops!
