Ingredients:

  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup sweetened condensed milk
  • ½ cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • ½ teaspoon vanilla extract
  • ¼ teaspoon salt

Instructions:

  1. In a medium mixing bowl, combine the heavy cream and sweetened condensed milk. Whisk together until well blended.
  2. Sift in the unsweetened cocoa powder to avoid lumps, then add the vanilla extract and salt. Whisk continuously until you achieve a smooth, velvety mixture with no lumps of cocoa.
  3. Give your fudge mixture a taste; if you want it sweeter, feel free to stir in an additional tablespoon of sweetened condensed milk.
  4. Carefully pour the fudge mixture into pop molds, leaving a little space at the top for expansion as they freeze. If using optional toppings like mini chocolate chips or crushed nuts, sprinkle them on top now.
  5. If your mold has separate sticks
  6. Place the molds in the freezer for at least 4 hours or until completely frozen solid.
  7. To release pops from their molds easily, run warm water over the outside of each mold for about 30 seconds before gently pulling them out.
