Ingredients:
- 4 pieces (approx. 6 oz / 170g each) Garlic Naan bread
- 1/2 cup (120ml) pizza sauce
- 2 cups (225g) shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/4 cup (25g) grated Parmesan cheese
- 12 slices (60g) pepperoni
- 1 tsp (5ml) dried oregano
- 1/4 tsp (1.5g) red pepper flakes
- fresh basil leaves
Instructions:
- Preheat the oven to 425°F (218°C). Place the naan pieces on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and bake for 2–3 minutes to create a moisture barrier.
- Remove the toasted naan from the oven. Spread 2 tbsp (30ml) of pizza sauce evenly across each piece, leaving a 1/2-inch border.
- Layer shredded mozzarella cheese, pepperoni slices, and grated Parmesan cheese over the sauce.
- Return the pizzas to the oven and bake for 7–10 minutes until the cheese is bubbly and golden-brown and the edges of the naan are mahogany colored.
- Remove from the oven, sprinkle with dried oregano and red pepper flakes, and garnish with fresh basil. Let rest for 2 minutes before slicing.
