Ingredients:

  • 4 pieces (approx. 6 oz / 170g each) Garlic Naan bread
  • 1/2 cup (120ml) pizza sauce
  • 2 cups (225g) shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/4 cup (25g) grated Parmesan cheese
  • 12 slices (60g) pepperoni
  • 1 tsp (5ml) dried oregano
  • 1/4 tsp (1.5g) red pepper flakes
  • fresh basil leaves

Instructions:

  1. Preheat the oven to 425°F (218°C). Place the naan pieces on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and bake for 2–3 minutes to create a moisture barrier.
  2. Remove the toasted naan from the oven. Spread 2 tbsp (30ml) of pizza sauce evenly across each piece, leaving a 1/2-inch border.
  3. Layer shredded mozzarella cheese, pepperoni slices, and grated Parmesan cheese over the sauce.
  4. Return the pizzas to the oven and bake for 7–10 minutes until the cheese is bubbly and golden-brown and the edges of the naan are mahogany colored.
  5. Remove from the oven, sprinkle with dried oregano and red pepper flakes, and garnish with fresh basil. Let rest for 2 minutes before slicing.
