Ingredients:

  • 12 large marshmallows (1.5 oz or 42g each)
  • 1 cup semisweet or dark chocolate chips (6 oz or 170g)
  • 1 tablespoon coconut oil (15ml) or vegetable oil
  • Crushed nuts (e.g., peanuts or almonds)
  • Sprinkles or edible glitter

Instructions:

  1. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper, setting aside for later.
  2. In a microwave-safe bowl, combine chocolate chips and coconut oil. Microwave in 30-second intervals, stirring until melted and smooth.
  3. Insert a skewer or lollipop stick into each marshmallow. Dip each marshmallow into the melted chocolate, covering about ¾ of the marshmallow. Allow excess chocolate to drip back into the bowl.
  4. Immediately sprinkle crushed nuts or sprinkles over the melted chocolate before it sets.
  5. Place the dipped marshmallows on the prepared baking sheet. Refrigerate for approximately 30 minutes, or until the chocolate hardens.
  6. Once set, remove the marshmallows from the fridge and serve immediately or store in an airtight container.
