Ingredients:
- 12 large marshmallows (1.5 oz or 42g each)
- 1 cup semisweet or dark chocolate chips (6 oz or 170g)
- 1 tablespoon coconut oil (15ml) or vegetable oil
- Crushed nuts (e.g., peanuts or almonds)
- Sprinkles or edible glitter
Instructions:
- Line a baking sheet with parchment paper, setting aside for later.
- In a microwave-safe bowl, combine chocolate chips and coconut oil. Microwave in 30-second intervals, stirring until melted and smooth.
- Insert a skewer or lollipop stick into each marshmallow. Dip each marshmallow into the melted chocolate, covering about ¾ of the marshmallow. Allow excess chocolate to drip back into the bowl.
- Immediately sprinkle crushed nuts or sprinkles over the melted chocolate before it sets.
- Place the dipped marshmallows on the prepared baking sheet. Refrigerate for approximately 30 minutes, or until the chocolate hardens.
- Once set, remove the marshmallows from the fridge and serve immediately or store in an airtight container.
