Ingredients:
- 8 slices of brioche or challah bread (about 300g)
- 1 cup (150g) sliced deli ham
- 1 cup (150g) sliced turkey breast
- 1 cup (100g) shredded Swiss cheese
- 6 large eggs
- 2 cups (480ml) whole milk
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- Powdered sugar, for dusting
- Maple syrup, for drizzling
Instructions:
- Slice brioche bread into triangles or squares and layer half in the bottom of the baking dish.
- Evenly spread the ham, turkey, and half the cheese over the bread, then top with remaining bread slices.
- In a mixing bowl, whisk together eggs, milk, vanilla, cinnamon, and salt until well combined.
- Pour the egg mixture over the layered bread and fillings, gently press down, cover with foil, and refrigerate for 30 minutes.
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C), remove foil, sprinkle remaining cheese on top, and bake for 40 minutes.
- Let cool for 5 minutes, then dust with powdered sugar and serve with maple syrup if desired.
