Ingredients:
- 2 tablespoons Smoked Paprika
- 2 tablespoons Garlic Powder
- 1 tablespoon Onion Powder
- 1 tablespoon Dried Oregano
- 1 tablespoon Dried Thyme
- 1 tablespoon Ground Black Pepper
- 1 tablespoon Cayenne Pepper
- 2 teaspoons White Pepper
- 2 teaspoons Salt
- 1 teaspoon Red Pepper Flakes (Optional)
Instructions:
- In a small mixing bowl, add all the listed spices (smoked paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, oregano, thyme, black pepper, cayenne pepper, white pepper, salt, and red pepper flakes (if using)).
- Use a whisk or spoon to thoroughly combine all the spices, ensuring there are no clumps. Aim for a homogenous colour and texture.
- Give it a wee taste (carefully!). Adjust the amount of cayenne pepper or red pepper flakes if you prefer a spicier or milder blend.
- Transfer the cajun seasoning recipe to an airtight container. Store in a cool, dark place for up to 6 months.
