Ingredients:
- 500g whole carrots, peeled and sliced 1/2-inch thick on a bias
- 15ml extra virgin olive oil
- 3g sea salt
- 1g cracked black pepper
- 15ml honey
- 10g melted butter
- 1g garlic powder
- 1g fresh thyme or parsley for garnish
Instructions:
- Peel the carrots and slice them into uniform 1/2-inch diagonal pieces. In a large bowl, toss the carrots with the oil, salt, and pepper until every piece is thoroughly coated.
- Preheat your air fryer to 380°F (195°C). Place the carrots in the basket in a single layer, ensuring no overcrowding. Air fry for 12–15 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through, until edges are slightly charred and the centers are fork-tender.
- Whisk the honey, melted butter, and garlic powder together. In the final 2 minutes of cooking, pull the basket out, drizzle the glaze over the carrots, and toss to coat. Return to the air fryer for the remaining time to caramelize.
