Ingredients:
- 1 cup brown rice
- 1.25 cups water
- ½ teaspoon salt
Instructions:
- Place brown rice in a fine mesh strainer and rinse under cold water until the water runs clear to remove excess starch.
- Transfer rinsed rice to the Instant Pot. Add water and salt if using.
- Secure the lid and set to pressure cook on high for 22-28 minutes depending on desired texture.
- Allow natural release for about 10 minutes after cooking.
- Open the lid and fluff the rice with a fork. Let sit for a few minutes before serving.
