Ingredients:

  • 4 ounces fresh ginger root, peeled and chopped
  • 2 ounces lemon juice, freshly squeezed
  • 1 ounce honey, or to taste
  • 8 ounces water, adjust for desired strength

Instructions:

  1. Peel and chop the ginger into smaller pieces for easier blending.
  2. In a blender, combine chopped ginger, lemon juice, honey, and water, and blend until smooth and well-combined.
  3. Pour the ginger blend through a fine mesh strainer or cheesecloth over a bowl to separate the liquid from the pulp, pressing down with a spoon to extract as much liquid as possible.
  4. Taste the liquid and adjust sweetness with more honey if desired.
  5. Pour into shot glasses or small bottles, and enjoy!
