Ingredients:
- 1 (6 ounce) package Jell-O gelatin (any flavor), (170g)
- 1 cup (237ml) boiling water, (240ml)
- 1 cup (237ml) cold vodka (80 proof recommended), (240ml)
- 1/2 cup (118ml) cold water, (120ml)
- Whipped cream (optional)
- Sprinkles (optional)
- Fresh fruit (e.g., berries, citrus wedges) (optional)
- Edible glitter (optional)
Instructions:
- Bring water to a rolling boil in a saucepan.
- In a heatproof bowl, add the boiling water to the Jell-O powder. Whisk until the gelatin is completely dissolved (about 2 minutes). Make sure there are no clumps!
- Stir in the cold vodka and cold water.
- Pour the mixture into the shot glasses (or baking pan). Refrigerate for at least 2 hours, or until firm. The Jell-O should be fully set and not sticky.
- Optionally garnish with whipped cream, sprinkles, fruit, or edible glitter before serving. These are perfect jello shots.
