Ingredients:
- 1/2 cup (120ml) Water
- 1/2 cup (100g) Granulated Sugar
- 10 Jolly Rancher Candies (assorted flavours), unwrapped and separated by flavour (about 2.5 oz / 70 grams)
- 2 oz (60ml) Vodka (80 proof or higher recommended)
- 1 oz (30ml) Jolly Rancher Green Apple Simple Syrup
- 1 oz (30ml) Jolly Rancher Blue Raspberry Simple Syrup
- 0.75 oz (22ml) Fresh Lime Juice
- Ice cubes
- Lime wedge
- 2 Jolly Rancher candies (of your choice)
Instructions:
- Combine water and sugar in a saucepan over medium heat. Stir until sugar is dissolved. Simmer gently for 3 minutes.
- Divide simple syrup equally into separate saucepan. Add candies of the same flavour to each pot. Simmer over low heat, stirring until candies are completely dissolved (about 5 minutes).
- Remove from heat. Let cool to room temperature. Strain each simple syrup through a fine-mesh sieve to remove any candy residue.
- Refrigerate the simple syrups for at least 2 hours to fully chill and intensify the flavour.
- Fill a cocktail shaker with ice. Add vodka, Green Apple simple syrup, Blue Raspberry simple syrup, and lime juice.
- Close the cocktail shaker tightly and shake vigorously for 15-20 seconds, until well chilled.
- Strain the cocktail into a chilled cocktail glass.
- Garnish with a lime wedge and 2 Jolly Rancher candies.
