Ingredients:
- 6 tablespoons (85g) unsalted butter
- 10 ounces (283g) miniature marshmallows
- 1/4 teaspoon kosher salt
- 6 cups (170g) Rice Krispies cereal
- 12 ounces (340g) good-quality white chocolate, chopped
- 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg
- 1/4 teaspoon ground cloves
- Optional Toppings: Sprinkles, crushed candy canes, shredded coconut, mini chocolate chips
Instructions:
- In a large saucepan over low heat, melt the butter. Add the marshmallows and salt, stirring constantly until completely melted and smooth. Remove from heat.
- Gently stir in the Rice Krispies cereal, cinnamon, nutmeg, and cloves until evenly coated.
- In a microwave-safe bowl, melt the white chocolate in 30-second intervals, stirring between each interval, until smooth and melted. Be careful not to overheat.
- Gently fold the melted white chocolate into the Rice Krispies mixture until everything is evenly coated.
- Using a small ice cream scoop or spoon, scoop out portions of the mixture and gently roll them into balls.
- While the balls are still slightly soft, roll them in your desired toppings (sprinkles, crushed candy canes, etc.) or sprinkle toppings over the tops.
- Place the balls on the prepared baking sheet and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes, or until firm.
