Ingredients:

  • 6 tablespoons (85g) unsalted butter
  • 10 ounces (283g) miniature marshmallows
  • 1/4 teaspoon kosher salt
  • 6 cups (170g) Rice Krispies cereal
  • 12 ounces (340g) good-quality white chocolate, chopped
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground cloves
  • Optional Toppings: Sprinkles, crushed candy canes, shredded coconut, mini chocolate chips

Instructions:

  1. In a large saucepan over low heat, melt the butter. Add the marshmallows and salt, stirring constantly until completely melted and smooth. Remove from heat.
  2. Gently stir in the Rice Krispies cereal, cinnamon, nutmeg, and cloves until evenly coated.
  3. In a microwave-safe bowl, melt the white chocolate in 30-second intervals, stirring between each interval, until smooth and melted. Be careful not to overheat.
  4. Gently fold the melted white chocolate into the Rice Krispies mixture until everything is evenly coated.
  5. Using a small ice cream scoop or spoon, scoop out portions of the mixture and gently roll them into balls.
  6. While the balls are still slightly soft, roll them in your desired toppings (sprinkles, crushed candy canes, etc.) or sprinkle toppings over the tops.
  7. Place the balls on the prepared baking sheet and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes, or until firm.
  8. Serve chilled and enjoy these delicious White Chocolate Rice Krispie Balls!
