Ingredients:

  • 4 ounces (113g) fresh ginger, peeled and roughly chopped
  • 2 lemons, juiced (approximately 4 ounces/113ml juice)
  • 1/2 cup (120ml) water (filtered, if preferred)
  • 1-2 tablespoons honey or maple syrup (optional, for sweetness – adjust to taste)
  • Pinch of cayenne pepper (optional, for extra kick!)

Instructions:

  1. Peel and chop the ginger. Juice the lemons.
  2. Combine ginger, lemon juice, water, and honey (if using) in the blender. Blend until completely smooth, about 1-2 minutes.
  3. Pour the mixture through a fine-mesh sieve or nut milk bag into a bowl or pitcher. Discard the pulp. Squeeze any remaining juice from the pulp.
  4. If desired, stir in a pinch of cayenne pepper.
  5. Pour into small bottles or glasses. Enjoy immediately or store in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
