Ingredients:

  • 4 slices of bread (white, whole wheat, or gluten-free)
  • ½ cup creamy or chunky peanut butter
  • ½ cup jelly or jam (any flavor)
  • Optional: 1 tablespoon butter for toasting

Instructions:

  1. Gather all your ingredients and equipment.
  2. Take 2 slices of bread and spread ¼ cup of peanut butter on each using a butter knife.
  3. On the remaining 2 slices of bread, spread ¼ cup of jelly or jam.
  4. Place the peanut butter slices on top of the jelly slices to create two sandwiches.
  5. Heat a skillet over medium heat, add butter if desired, and toast each sandwich for 2-3 minutes per side until golden brown.
  6. Cut the sandwiches in half and serve immediately.
