Ingredients:
- 1 cup (120g) powdered sugar, sifted
- 2 tablespoons (30ml) fresh strawberry juice (about 2-3 strawberries)
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
- A pinch of salt
- Food coloring (if a deeper color is desired)
Instructions:
- Optionally, blend fresh strawberries in a blender until smooth. Strain through a fine mesh sieve to extract 2 tablespoons of juice.
- In a mixing bowl, add the sifted powdered sugar.
- Pour in the fresh strawberry juice.
- Add vanilla extract and a pinch of salt.
- Whisk together until smooth and well combined. Adjust consistency by adding more powdered sugar or juice as necessary.
- If desired, add a few drops of food coloring and mix until evenly colored.
- Drizzle or dip over cooled cookies. Allow to set for about 10-15 minutes before serving.
