Ingredients:

  • 2 ripe mangoes, peeled and diced (approximately 2 cups or 300g)
  • 1 cup (240ml) water
  • 2 tablespoons (30g) sugar (adjust based on mango sweetness)
  • 1/2 cup (120ml) chamoy sauce (store-bought or homemade)
  • 2 tablespoons (30g) Tajín seasoning (or to taste)
  • Additional diced mango, lime wedges, or cucumber slices for garnish (optional)

Instructions:

  1. Peel and dice the ripe mangoes.
  2. In a blender, combine diced mango, water, and sugar.
  3. Blend until smooth and well-mixed.
  4. Pour the mango mixture into a freezer-safe container.
  5. Freeze for 1-2 hours, until slushy but not completely frozen.
  6. If using homemade chamoy, prepare as per your recipe (optional).
  7. In serving cups, layer the slushy mango mix and chamoy sauce.
  8. Sprinkle Tajín seasoning on top.
  9. Optionally, add diced mango, lime wedges, or cucumber slices as garnish.
  10. Provide spoons and straws for easy enjoyment.
  11. Serve immediately while still icy and refreshing.
