Ingredients:
- 2 ripe mangoes, peeled and diced (approximately 2 cups or 300g)
- 1 cup (240ml) water
- 2 tablespoons (30g) sugar (adjust based on mango sweetness)
- 1/2 cup (120ml) chamoy sauce (store-bought or homemade)
- 2 tablespoons (30g) Tajín seasoning (or to taste)
- Additional diced mango, lime wedges, or cucumber slices for garnish (optional)
Instructions:
- Peel and dice the ripe mangoes.
- In a blender, combine diced mango, water, and sugar.
- Blend until smooth and well-mixed.
- Pour the mango mixture into a freezer-safe container.
- Freeze for 1-2 hours, until slushy but not completely frozen.
- If using homemade chamoy, prepare as per your recipe (optional).
- In serving cups, layer the slushy mango mix and chamoy sauce.
- Sprinkle Tajín seasoning on top.
- Optionally, add diced mango, lime wedges, or cucumber slices as garnish.
- Provide spoons and straws for easy enjoyment.
- Serve immediately while still icy and refreshing.
