Ingredients:
- 1 (15.25 oz) package chocolate cake mix
- 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/4 cup granulated sugar
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 1 cup milk
- 1 large egg
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 cup creamy peanut butter
- 1/4 cup powdered sugar
- 2 tablespoons milk
- 1/2 cup chopped peanuts
- 1/4 cup chocolate chips
Instructions:
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9x13 inch baking dish.
- In the baking dish, evenly sprinkle the chocolate cake mix, flour, granulated sugar, and salt.
- Pour the melted butter over the dry ingredients. Then, pour the milk evenly over the dry ingredients, followed by the egg and vanilla extract. Do not stir.
- In a small mixing bowl, combine the peanut butter, powdered sugar, and milk. Mix well until smooth and creamy.
- Drop spoonfuls of the peanut butter mixture randomly over the top of the cake batter.
- Sprinkle the chopped peanuts and chocolate chips evenly over the top.
- Bake for 40-45 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out with fudgy crumbs.
- Let cool slightly before serving.
