Ingredients:

  • 1 (15.25 oz) package chocolate cake mix
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup creamy peanut butter
  • 1/4 cup powdered sugar
  • 2 tablespoons milk
  • 1/2 cup chopped peanuts
  • 1/4 cup chocolate chips

Instructions:

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9x13 inch baking dish.
  2. In the baking dish, evenly sprinkle the chocolate cake mix, flour, granulated sugar, and salt.
  3. Pour the melted butter over the dry ingredients. Then, pour the milk evenly over the dry ingredients, followed by the egg and vanilla extract. Do not stir.
  4. In a small mixing bowl, combine the peanut butter, powdered sugar, and milk. Mix well until smooth and creamy.
  5. Drop spoonfuls of the peanut butter mixture randomly over the top of the cake batter.
  6. Sprinkle the chopped peanuts and chocolate chips evenly over the top.
  7. Bake for 40-45 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out with fudgy crumbs.
  8. Let cool slightly before serving.
