Ingredients:
- 2 cups (180g) old fashioned rolled oats
- 1 cup (250g) natural creamy peanut butter
- 1/3 cup (115g) honey or maple syrup
- 3 tbsp (45ml) unsweetened almond milk
- 2/3 cup (60g) whey or plant-based protein powder
- 2 tbsp ground flaxseed or chia seeds
- 1/3 cup (60g) dark chocolate chips (70% cacao)
- 1/4 tsp sea salt
Instructions:
- Measure the Oats. Place 2 cups (180g) of rolled oats in your bowl.
- Add Binders. Pour in 1 cup (250g) of natural peanut butter and 1/3 cup (115g) of honey.
- Incorporate Protein. Add 2/3 cup (60g) of your chosen protein powder and 2 tbsp of flax or chia seeds.
- Add Liquids. Splash in 3 tbsp (45ml) of almond milk and 1/4 tsp sea salt.
- Fold and Mix. Stir everything together until no dry streaks of protein powder remain visible.
- Add Texture. Fold in 1/3 cup (60g) dark chocolate chips.
- Initial Chill. Place the bowl in the fridge for 10 minutes.
- Portion and Shape. Scoop 15 even portions and roll into balls or press into a square pan.
- Set Completely. Chill for another 20 minutes until the surface feels firm to the touch.
- Store. Transfer to an airtight container once they have fully firmed up.
