Ingredients:

  • 1 cup (200g) Granulated Sugar, white
  • 1 cup (240ml) Water, filtered

Instructions:

  1. In the saucepan, combine the sugar and water.
  2. Place the saucepan over medium heat.
  3. Stir constantly until the sugar is completely dissolved and the mixture is clear. Do not boil vigorously.
  4. If desired, simmer for 1-2 minutes to slightly thicken the syrup. This is usually not necessary.
  5. Remove from heat and let cool completely.
  6. Pour into a sterilized jar or airtight container and store in the refrigerator.
