Ingredients:
- 1 cup (200g) Granulated Sugar, white
- 1 cup (240ml) Water, filtered
Instructions:
- In the saucepan, combine the sugar and water.
- Place the saucepan over medium heat.
- Stir constantly until the sugar is completely dissolved and the mixture is clear. Do not boil vigorously.
- If desired, simmer for 1-2 minutes to slightly thicken the syrup. This is usually not necessary.
- Remove from heat and let cool completely.
- Pour into a sterilized jar or airtight container and store in the refrigerator.
