  • 1/2 cup pizza sauce
  • 8 oz shredded mozzarella
  • 1/4 cup grated parmesan
  • 1 tsp dried oregano
  • 6 fresh basil leaves

Instructions:

  1. Bloom the Yeast: In a mixing bowl, combine the warm water, honey, and instant yeast. Stir gently and let it sit for 5 minutes until it becomes foamy on top.
  2. Combine: Stir in the olive oil and salt. Gradually add the flour, stirring with a spoon until a shaggy dough forms.
  3. Knead Briefly: Turn the dough onto a floured surface and knead for just 2-3 minutes until the dough is smooth.
  4. Divide: Split the dough into two equal balls.
  5. Roll Thin: Use a rolling pin to flatten each ball into an oval shape, roughly 1/4 inch thick.
  6. Dock the Dough: Use a fork to poke small holes across the surface of the dough to prevent large air bubbles.
  7. Preheat: Set your oven to 450°F (230°C).
