Ingredients:

  • 1 cup (120g) all-purpose flour
  • 1 ½ cups (360ml) whole milk
  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 tablespoons (30g) granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon (5g) vanilla extract
  • ½ teaspoon (2g) salt
  • 1 tablespoon (14g) unsalted butter, melted (plus extra for cooking)
  • Optional: Maple syrup, Fresh fruits (berries, bananas, etc.), Powdered sugar, Whipped cream

Instructions:

  1. In a mixing bowl, whisk together flour, milk, eggs, sugar, vanilla extract, and salt until smooth. Blend the batter until no lumps remain.
  2. Place a non-stick skillet over medium heat and add a small amount of melted butter.
  3. Pour ¼ cup (60ml) of batter into the pan, tilting to spread evenly. Cook until bubbles form on the surface and the edges start to look set (about 2-3 minutes).
  4. Flip and cook for an additional 1-2 minutes, until golden brown.
  5. Transfer pancakes to a plate and keep warm while repeating with remaining batter.
  6. Serve pancakes warm, topped with your choice of garnishes.
