Ingredients:
- 1.5 lbs (680g) boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 1 sleeve (about 11.5 oz or 325g) Ritz crackers
- ½ cup (1 stick or 113g) unsalted butter, melted
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- ½ teaspoon paprika
- ¼ teaspoon black pepper
- Salt to taste
Instructions:
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Lightly grease the baking dish.
- Crush Ritz crackers into fine crumbs using a food processor or a resealable bag and rolling pin.
- In a bowl, combine crushed Ritz crackers, melted butter, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper. Mix well.
- Pat chicken breasts dry with paper towels and season with salt and pepper.
- Dredge each chicken breast in the Ritz cracker mixture, pressing to ensure the crumbs adhere well.
- Place coated chicken breasts in the prepared baking dish, making sure they are not overcrowded.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until the chicken is cooked through and the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C). The crust should be golden brown and crispy.
- Let the chicken rest for 5 minutes before serving.
