Ingredients:

  • 1.5 lbs (680g) boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 sleeve (about 11.5 oz or 325g) Ritz crackers
  • ½ cup (1 stick or 113g) unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • ½ teaspoon paprika
  • ¼ teaspoon black pepper
  • Salt to taste

Instructions:

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Lightly grease the baking dish.
  3. Crush Ritz crackers into fine crumbs using a food processor or a resealable bag and rolling pin.
  4. In a bowl, combine crushed Ritz crackers, melted butter, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper. Mix well.
  5. Pat chicken breasts dry with paper towels and season with salt and pepper.
  6. Dredge each chicken breast in the Ritz cracker mixture, pressing to ensure the crumbs adhere well.
  7. Place coated chicken breasts in the prepared baking dish, making sure they are not overcrowded.
  8. Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until the chicken is cooked through and the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C). The crust should be golden brown and crispy.
  9. Let the chicken rest for 5 minutes before serving.
