- ½ oz (15 ml) simple syrup (1:1 sugar to water ratio)
- ½ oz (15 ml) Amaro (like Averna or Fernet-Branca)
- Ice cubes (for shaking)
- Lemon twist (for garnish)
Instructions:
- Gather all ingredients and equipment.
- Fill the cocktail shaker with ice cubes.
- Measure and pour the gin into the shaker.
- Add fresh lemon juice and simple syrup.
- Add Amaro to the shaker.
- Close the shaker and shake vigorously for about 15 seconds until well chilled.
