Ingredients:

  • 1 pound king mushrooms, sliced into ½-inch pieces
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon sea salt
  • ½ teaspoon freshly cracked black pepper
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped
  • 1 tablespoon fresh thyme leaves

Instructions:

  1. Clean mushrooms with a damp cloth; slice into ½-inch pieces.
  2. Place a large skillet over medium-high heat and add olive oil.
  3. Add minced garlic to the skillet; sauté for 30 seconds until fragrant, being careful not to burn.
  4. Incorporate sliced king mushrooms, season with salt and pepper, and sauté for 8-10 minutes, stirring occasionally, until they are golden brown.
  5. Pour soy sauce over the mushrooms; stir to combine and cook for an additional 2 minutes.
  6. Remove from heat, add butter, parsley, and thyme; stir until butter is melted and mixed in.
  7. Transfer to a serving dish; enjoy warm.
