Ingredients:
- 1 cup Jack Daniel
- s whiskey
- 1 cup packed brown sugar
- 1 cup ketchup
- 1/4 cup apple cider vinegar
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
- 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
- 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper (optional)
Instructions:
- In a medium saucepan
- Whisk in smoked paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, black pepper, salt, and cayenne pepper (if using).
- Place the saucepan over medium heat. Stir the mixture until the sugar dissolves completely.
- Bring to a gentle simmer. Reduce heat slightly and let sauce cook for 15-20 minutes, stirring occasionally.
- Remove from heat and let it cool to room temperature before transferring to an airtight container.
- Refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to allow flavors to meld.
