Ingredients:

  • 1 cup (240 ml) Balsamic Vinegar (good quality)

Instructions:

  1. Pour the balsamic vinegar into the medium saucepan.
  2. Bring the vinegar to a gentle simmer over medium-low heat.
  3. Reduce the heat to low and simmer gently, uncovered, for 20-30 minutes. Stir occasionally to prevent sticking.
  4. Check the consistency by dipping a spoon into the glaze. It should coat the back of the spoon and slowly drip off. If it's still too thin, continue simmering for a few more minutes, checking frequently.
  5. Remove from heat and let cool completely. The balsamic glaze will thicken further as it cools.
  6. Transfer the cooled glaze to an airtight container and store in the refrigerator.
